The Alhambra Elementary School District wants to ensure students and staff stay healthy this flu season. Because protection from all respiratory viruses, including the flu and Coronavirus, is similar, we want to share preventative measures to help stop the spread of any respiratory virus. Please view our letter to parents on how to keep your children healthy. Also, if students are running a fever of 100.0 or higher, they should stay home until he/she is fever-free for at least 24 hours. Thank you for helping to maintain a healthy learning environment for students and staff.

2020 Census...Be Counted!
Every 10 years, the United States Census counts everyone living in the United States; and this determines the amount of funding each state receives from the federal government.
During the weeks of March 12-20, 2020, every household will receive an invitation to participate in the Census. Be sure to respond to the Census, and remember to count every person in your home. You can respond to the Census online or by using your mobile device, by phone, or by mail.
Responses to the Census are safe, secure, and protected by federal law. Your answers can only be used to produce statistics, and cannot be used by any government agency or court including the FBI, CIA, DHS, and ICE. The only questions asked are simple questions like age, gender, and the number of people living in your home, including children.
Be sure to respond to the Census when you receive your invitation. In May, Census takers will begin visiting homes that have not responded to the Census to help make sure everyone is counted. If someone visits your home to collect information for the 2020 Census, check to make sure that they have a valid ID badge with their photograph, a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark, and an expiration date. Census workers may also carry Census Bureau bags and other equipment with the Census Bureau logo.
Be counted and help shape the future of Arizona!
