Dear Parents and Guardians,
My name is Tina Bunch, and I am honored to be the new principal of Granada East Elementary School. I am excited to welcome you to an academic year full of possibilities and growth. A bit about me: I grew up in the Alhambra Elementary School District, graduated from Alhambra High School, and started my career in AESD as a third-grade teacher at Cordova Elementary in 1999. For the past six years, I served as the principal of Catalina Ventura Elementary School.
I believe children deserve a rigorous, structured education in a caring environment and that strong family-school partnerships are key to high-achieving schools. Together, we will ensure all students thrive at Granada East.
Our dedicated team is committed to providing a high-quality education and supporting each student’s academic, social, and emotional growth. We encourage you to engage in all aspects of school life, including academics, arts, athletics, and community service. Together, we can create memorable experiences and a strong foundation for success.
We welcome parent volunteers to help enrich our school community. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you with us. I look forward to meeting you and working together for a successful year.
Please reach out to me or our teaching team with any questions, concerns, or ideas.
Together we LEAD!
Warm regards,
Tina Bunch
