All students deserve a nutritious breakfast. Alhambra Elementary School District offers free breakfast to students each morning with our Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC) program. 

BIC increases access to a nutritious breakfast by maximizing convenience and overcoming barriers to participation. Breakfast is available to all students, regardless of income or meal eligibility status. 

There are many academic benefits of Breakfast in the Classroom: 

1. Improved classroom performance
2. Reduced tardiness and absenteeism
3. Fewer visits to the nurse or principal's office

Through the BIC program, all children have fresh, healthy food to start their day.
